I came in twice to this location and experienced lengthy patient education and demonstrations, heavy sales and marketing tactics, and pressure to book and authorize prepaid payments. The amount of pressure felt like being at a car dealership. Hands on chiropractic practice was extremely limited (45 minutes education, 2 minutes of hands-on procedure, 30 minutes resting in a quiet room). They didn’t care that I was 39 weeks pregnant and very uncomfortable physically, I was still pressured to come in even though it conflicted with my Dr. appointments and birth plans. They were only interested in securing follow up appointments. I felt preyed upon and taken advantage of. Emphasis was on selling diagnoses of subluxation and degenerative disc disease etc. I also purchased a “pillow” which was a piece of cut foam for $55. They pretended to take insurance (took my card, said they would call on it). Then asked me to pay $2k+ out of pocket upfront. When I asked directly if they took insurance (I’m triple covered and was hoping to get it covered), I was told they do not take any form of insurance. Why go through the motions as if insurance was accepted? I was deliberately misled. 2 stars because they are very charming and personable. They practice things like memorizing your family members names. It’s cute and feels good but I cannot authorize $2k in services for that alone.

I started my care with Dr. Crusade in July after attending a free patient orientation. I decided to try this chiropractic place because I have had pain for over 20 years in the sacrum area and the neck from gymnastics, car accidents and life trauma. After the emotional x-ray consultation I was hopeful that the doctor and myofascial therapist could help get my spine closer to the correct alignment. Two months in I the chronic pain in the lower sacrum area had vanished. I didn't always feel great, but things were moving in the right directions. I had my next set of x-rays to check the progress and was very happy! The degree of tilt of my hips had improved from 7.35 degrees to 2.5 degree tilt. My shoulders were also getting more level and my scoliosis curve had improved a great deal. Also, after an adjustment when starting out you go lay down in a nice dim room with or without ice and rest to let the adjustment settle! I will be continuing my care for another year with the spinal checks, adjustments and myofascial treatments. The entire team at Crusade Specific Chiropractic are very warm, kind, supportive, and helpful!
