Excellent food. La Bou is a local Sacramento Area standard at this point. Never fails to impress me with the food quality. Sandwiches, salads or pastries they kill it! Service has gotten better over the years but still wish they had better processes in place. If you're not paying attention your food will sit. They quietly call your name once and that is it. Your food may sit with 10 other trays/bags until you ask if it's ready. Not unique to this location. Seems to be just how La Bou does it. No issue when it's slow but for lunch it's a PIA. Still 5 stars easily.
Great breakfast and lunch spot across the street from Land Park near the zoo. Pastries, croissants, soup, salad, sandwiches and coffee. You can see the giraffe heads over the zoo fence along Sutterville across from the gas station closest to La Bou.
